Trying to decide where to travel in November? You’re in the right place.
I think November is such an underrated month to travel! It’s easy to get caught up in the holidays, Thanksgiving plans, and everything that comes with the end of the year, but November is actually a great month to explore so many destinations. Fall is winding down in some places, Christmas markets are opening across Europe, and you can still find plenty of warm weather if you’re craving a beach getaway. Whether you want to escape to the Caribbean, explore a new city, or get a head start on the holiday spirit, there are so many amazing places to visit in November.
November is a month I really love for travel and I’ve personally visited every destination on this list, although not always in November! These recommendations are based on my own experiences, the things I’ve loved doing in each place, and my perspective as a luxury travel advisor.
In this guide, I’m sharing my favorite November travel destinations, with tips on the best things to do, what the weather is like, and where I’ve stayed or recommend. Whether you’re planning a quick weekend getaway or a bigger international trip, I hope this gives you some ideas for your next November vacation! Here are my favorite places to travel in November:
Here is everywhere to travel in November! I have personally been to all of these destinations and many in or around the month of November (which I noted for each).
1. Anguilla, Caribbean

November is a great time to visit Anguilla if you’re dreaming of a Caribbean beach vacation before peak season prices kick in. Early November marks the start of the island’s busy season, and you can often find better hotel rates before the holidays. We are visiting in early November with our two little ones and look forward to an incredible time enjoying the beautiful beaches, warm weather, and laid back resort experience.
With daytime temperatures typically in the low to mid 80s, the weather is ideal for a beach vacation. The days are warm and sunny, but never overly hot yet in November. Anguilla is the perfect destination if you want to essentially “fly and flop”. Think spending your days between the beach, pool, and long lunches by the water! You can also book a boat cruise, explore the island’s incredible food scene, or watch the sunset from the beach. Just keep in mind that hurricane season officially runs through November, so travel insurance is still worth it this time of year.
Where to Stay in Anguilla
We are splitting our stay between Belmond Cap Juluca and Four Seasons Resort and Residences Anguilla, and I love both properties for different reasons.
Belmond Cap Juluca is a bucket list hotel for me, with a stunning setting on Maundays Bay that makes it an incredible choice for a Caribbean honeymoon.
Four Seasons is wonderful for our family, with beautiful beaches, multiple pools, kids club, and spacious accommodations.
I’d recommend either for a luxury Anguilla vacation, depending on whether you’re planning a romantic escape or a family trip. I can help you decide which makes sense for you and book it with VIP perks like free upgrades, complimentary breakfast and $100 hotel credit! Inquire with me here.
2. Argentina

November is an amazing time to visit Argentina. Keep in mind that the seasons are opposite in the Southern Hemisphere, so November is spring before transitioning into summer. We combined sightseeing in Buenos Aires with a few days in Mendoza wine country, and I was so surprised by how much I loved Buenos Aires. It’s often called the Paris of South America, and I can see why! It’s such a chic city, with incredible restaurants, beautiful green spaces, and plenty of great hotels and shopping.
The weather is lovely for walking around Buenos Aires especially with flowers blooming throughout the city in Spring. We ate at SO many good restaurants in Buenos Aires and I’d go back just for the food alone! From there, we flew south to Mendoza for wine tasting, which was such a fun change of pace. Beyond the wineries, you can enjoy horseback riding, hiking, and incredible views of the Andes. November is a great time to experience both the city and the countryside in one trip.
Of course, you could also do Argentina Patagonia, but I’ll get into that in my next recommendation.
Where to Stay in Buenos Aires, Argentina
We stayed at Alvear Palace Hotel during our trip, and it’s one of my top recommendations for a classic luxury stay in Buenos Aires. I loved their rooftop bar! I’ve also had clients stay at Palacio Duhau, Park Hyatt Buenos Aires, which is another favorite to consider and where I would stay next time.
Where to Stay in Mendoza, Argentina

We stayed at The Vines Resort & Spa in the Uco Valley, and I’d book it again in a heartbeat. The location is absolutely stunning, surrounded by vineyards with the Andes as your backdrop. The villas are spacious and serene, and the staff goes above and beyond to make your stay special. I’ve also sent clients here, and they were so impressed!

3. Patagonia, Chile

November is a great time to visit Chilean Patagonia, especially if hiking in Torres del Paine National Park is on your bucket list. November is spring in the Southern Hemisphere, with milder temperatures and longer days as the region heads into summer.
After our time in Argentina, we flew to Chile to explore Patagonia, and the landscapes here were just incredible. It’s remote, vast, and full of dramatic beauty. We also spent a night in Santiago before heading south, which is worth doing if you have time to explore the city.
We hiked parts of the W Trek, including Mirador Las Torres, trekked to Grey Glacier, and did a wildlife tour in search of pumas during our 5 days in Patagonia Chile. Every corner of the park offered something new and completely breathtaking. You can also explore the Argentine side of Patagonia, but we chose Chile for this trip and loved the experience!
Where to Stay in Chilean Patagonia

We stayed at Awasi Patagonia, and it’s one of our favorite hotels we’ve ever experienced. This Relais & Châteaux property sits in a private reserve just outside Torres del Paine National Park, and every guest is paired with their own guide and 4×4 vehicle. Our guide, Tomas, planned each day around our interests and energy level, which made the trip feel both relaxed and adventurous.
Awasi goes above and beyond with the details. After our 13-kilometer round-trip hike to the base of the towers, Tomas surprised us with a cheese board and champagne toast on the trail. It’s one of those moments I’ll never forget. Even our packed lunches were a highlight, with local cheeses and homemade empanadas. If you’re looking for a luxury Patagonia experience that still lets you get out and explore, I’d absolutely recommend Awasi and I would love to help you plan it!
Where to Stay in Santiago, Chile
We stayed at The Singular Santiago, and LOVED how chic it was. The hotel has a beautiful design and an amazing rooftop restaurant, making it a great place to spend a night or two before heading down to Patagonia.
If you want some help pulling together an amazing itinerary for any of these destinations, I’m a luxury travel advisor and would be thrilled to assist! We work together to create your trip

4. Costa Rica

November is a great time for a tropical getaway in Costa Rica, especially if you’re looking for a little sunshine before the holiday season. We took a romantic getaway to the Guanacaste region on the Pacific Coast, and it was such a fun trip! November is a transition month from the rainy season to the dry season, so you can still get some rain, but you’ll often find sunny stretches perfect for enjoying the beach.
We spent our days in Costa Rica sailing along the coast, taking surf lessons, and lounging on the beach. You can also plan day trips into the rainforest or visit nearby volcanoes if you want to explore beyond the coast. If you’re thinking about a quick escape, don’t miss my Costa Rica weekend itinerary for ideas on how to make the most of your time.
Where to Stay in Costa Rica

We stayed at Casa Chameleon at Las Catalinas, a boutique adults-only hotel in Guanacaste, and it’s such a great option for couples. Our private villa had its own plunge pool overlooking the Pacific, and it felt like our own little slice of paradise. I’ve also booked clients here and it’s one I’d recommend for a romantic getaway!
5. Japan

November in Japan is an absolute dream, especially if you want to explore cities like Kyoto and Tokyo on foot. The weather is cooler and a little more brisk, but it is great for sightseeing and all the walking you’ll do. You might even catch some beautiful fall foliage, depending on when and where you visit!
We visited both Tokyo and Kyoto and I loved each for different reasons. During our 5 days in Kyoto, we ended up walking almost everywhere! Some of our favorite spots were Fushimi Inari Shrine, with its endless path of red torii gates, Kiyomizu-dera Temple, with its sweeping city views, and the iconic Bamboo Forests. We also loved the peaceful Philosopher’s Path and the many restaurants along it!
In Tokyo, we loved exploring neighborhoods like Shibuya and Ginza, along with the city’s cool vintage book district. There’s so much to see in Tokyo and I loved how different the energy felt from Kyoto.

Where to Stay in Kyoto, Japan
We stayed at The Shinmonzen, a luxury ryokan-style hotel in Gion, and loved it. The design feels modern but still rooted in Japanese aesthetics, and the location is quiet and tucked away while being close to everything we wanted to see.
Where to Stay in Tokyo, Japan
I’ve stayed at both The Tokyo Edition and Four Seasons Hotel Tokyo at Otemachi, and both are wonderful. The Edition feels more boutique and is a great choice for couples, while Four Seasons has incredible views over the Imperial Gardens and, on clear days, Mount Fuji. We also loved the Michelin-starred restaurant at Four Seasons, and both hotels were great when we visited Japan with our 18-month-old!

6. Puerto Rico

November is a great time to visit Puerto Rico if you’re looking for warm weather, beautiful beaches, and a little adventure. I visited San Juan on a girls trip in January, and I loved how much you can fit into a trip here without having to choose between a beach vacation and exploring somewhere new.
In San Juan, average daytime highs are around 86°F, so it’s warm enough for lazy beach days but still a great time to explore. You can hike through El Yunque Rainforest, cruise around San Juan Bay, and explore the colorful streets and historic forts of Old San Juan.
Puerto Rican food is incredible, so don’t skip the local dining scene! I love that San Juan offers beautiful beaches alongside history, culture, and access to natural wonders like the rainforest and bioluminescent bays! See more of the fun things you can do in San Juan here!
Where to Stay in Puerto Rico

We stayed at Condado Ocean Club, which was perfect for a girls trip. It had a fun, modern vibe and a beachfront pool where we spent hours.
If you’re looking for something more elevated, I’d also consider Four Seasons Resort and Residences Puerto Rico, near El Yunque, with a beautiful beach and lush natural surroundings, or Dorado Beach, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve, one of the few Ritz-Carlton Reserve properties in the world. Both are great options if you want a more secluded luxury resort experience.
Planning to stay at one of these hotels? I can help you book with added benefits like FREE upgrades, complimentary breakfast and $100-200 USD hotel credit, at no additional booking fee (yes, really!) Inquire here to learn more!
7. Denmark

November in Denmark is all about hygge and getting into the holiday spirit. I’ve been to Denmark many times because we have family friends who live there, although I haven’t made it in November just yet. Copenhagen is one of my favorite cities, and I can only imagine how cozy it feels this time of year with Christmas markets popping up around the city, festive lights, and plenty of excuses to duck into a warm restaurant or pub.
November is chilly, with average daytime highs around 45°F, so pack layers and a warm coat. It’s the perfect month for browsing Christmas markets, shopping along the pretty streets, visiting museums, and exploring the city’s beautiful castles. I’d also make time for a cozy dinner at one of Copenhagen’s many restaurants and a little wandering without much of an itinerary. That’s part of the fun of visiting Copenhagen this time of year! Just check the dates if visiting Tivoli Gardens is on your list, as its Christmas season typically begins in mid-November.
Where to Stay in Copenhagen, Denmark

We love Hotel Sanders for couples or a first trip to Copenhagen. It’s intimate, beautifully designed, and in a great location for exploring the city on foot. I’ve also stayed at Villa Copenhagen a few times and love it! It’s a trendier option near Tivoli Gardens that’s a bit more affordable, and the sauna is a great perk when you’re visiting during the colder months. See my full guide for where to stay in Copenhagen.
8. Germany

Germany is one of the best places to visit in November if Christmas markets are on your bucket list. I’ve been to Munich and spent three days exploring the city, from Marienplatz and the English Garden to its incredible food scene. I loved how much there was to see and do, and I can only imagine how festive it feels once the Christmas markets open!
By late November, Munich has several markets to explore, including the main market at Marienplatz, the Christmas Village in the courtyard of the Munich Residenz, and smaller markets tucked into different neighborhoods. The market at Marienplatz is the classic one to visit, but I’d make time for a few others, too. Germany has some incredible Christmas markets beyond Munich, including the famous markets in Dresden and Cologne, so you could easily plan a whole trip around them.
Where to Stay in Munich, Germany

We stayed at Rosewood Munich, and I highly recommend it for either a luxury getaway or a family trip. It’s within walking distance of the main sights and shopping, but tucked away in a quieter area when you’re ready to relax. The hotel is beautiful, and I think it’s a great home base for exploring Munich during the Christmas season.
9. Switzerland

Switzerland is another great option for a festive trip in late November, especially if you want a little winter magic without planning a ski vacation. It can be a bit early for skiing, depending on the resort and snow conditions, but the cities are getting ready for the holidays, and Zurich is especially festive this time of year.
I love both Zurich and Geneva, and I’d spend a few days exploring one of them before heading to Lucerne for a mountain escape. Switzerland is a small country, so it’s fairly easy to combine a city stay with a few nights somewhere scenic. In Lucerne, you can wander the charming old town, walk along the lake, and take in the mountain views. I’d also plan a trip around staying at Bürgenstock Resort, which sits high above Lake Lucerne and has an incredible spa for a relaxing winter retreat.
Where to Stay in Switzerland

- Hotel Longemalle, Geneva: A boutique hotel in the heart of Geneva’s Old Town, making it a lovely base for exploring the city on foot.
- Bürgenstock Resort, Lake Lucerne: My pick for a mountain spa retreat, with beautiful lake views and an incredible wellness experience. It’s worth spending a couple of nights here to really enjoy the resort.
- Hotel Storchen, Zurich: A beautiful hotel right in the heart of Zurich, along the Limmat River and within walking distance of the city’s shops, restaurants, and holiday markets.
👉 TRAVEL TIP! If you are booking a luxury hotel stay, I can add our VIP perks (free breakfast daily, room upgrades, and $100 hotel credit) to your stay at the same rate you are seeing online at nearly any hotel in the world. Just send me your dates and hotels here and we’ll follow up with a proposal for you to review and book if you’d like!
10. Greece

Greece in November is a little different from your typical Greek island vacation, but it’s worth considering! This is a great time to explore Athens and the Acropolis without the summer heat and peak season crowds. Average daytime temperatures in Athens are around 63 to 68°F, with cooler evenings around 50 to 55°F. You may get some rain, but it’s generally a comfortable time to explore the city on foot.
I’d also use this time of year to explore mainland Greece, which I think is seriously underrated! I went up north for a friends wedding a few years ago and it was so beautiful! Head to Meteora to see its incredible monasteries perched on towering rock formations, explore the mountain villages around Mount Olympus, or spend time in Thessaloniki for its food scene and history. You can plan leisurely hikes, cozy evenings in traditional mountain towns, and even a spa retreat. Just pack layers, as temperatures drop in the mountains, and keep in mind that November is a quieter season, so some seasonal hotels and activities may have limited availability.
Where to Stay in Greece

Metsovo: Grand Forest Metsovo. For a completely different side of Greece, this mountain retreat is surrounded by pine forests in the Pindus Mountains. It’s a wonderful option for a quieter getaway with mountain views, spa time, and access to the surrounding countryside.
Athens: Ergon Bake House. I had clients stay here this year, and it’s become a new favorite to recommend. I love the concept, with a food market and restaurants alongside the hotel, and it’s a great base for exploring Athens.
Athens: Hotel Grande Bretagne. One of my personal favorites if you’re looking for a classic luxury hotel in a central location, with beautiful views of the Acropolis from select rooms and the rooftop. The rooftop is my favorite part for sure and it’s worth going even if you don’t stay here.
Athens: InnAthens. Another hotel I personally love, especially if you’re looking for something boutique and stylish in a fantastic location near Syntagma Square. We stayed here on my very first trip to Greece and loved the B&B feel.
11. Spain

November is a great time to explore Madrid, Spain, with cooler temperatures and fewer crowds than the busy summer months. We just visited in September, and it was WAY too hot for all the walking we wanted to do! I’d love to go back in November when it’s a little cooler and more comfortable for exploring the city.
We loved visiting the Royal Palace, wandering through Retiro Park, browsing the food markets, and eating our way around the city. Seriously, Madrid is such a fun city for food lovers! Make sure to add Ticuí to your list, too.
November temperatures average around 57°F during the day, with cooler evenings, so bring a jacket and plan to spend plenty of time walking between neighborhoods, museums, shops, and restaurants.
Where to Stay in Madrid, Spain
We stayed at Brach Madrid, and it was a wonderful choice for our family. It’s a beautiful boutique luxury hotel with thoughtful details and a great location, although the overall vibe definitely leans more adult focused.
I also love Rosewood Villa Magna, especially if you want to be close to Madrid’s high end shopping along the Golden Mile.
For a more affordable option, consider Thompson Madrid, which has a great rooftop bar and a central location for exploring the city.
You don’t have to be planning a once-in-a-lifetime trip to use a travel advisor. If you’re booking a hotel anyway, let’s see if we can add a few benefits to your stay! Reach out to me here.
12. Egypt

Egypt has much better weather in November than when I visited, and it’s a time of year I’d love to go back! With cooler temperatures, it’s a great time to explore the Great Pyramids of Giza and spend time discovering Cairo beyond the main sights. Average daytime highs in Cairo are around 76°F, with evenings cooling off to the upper 50s. It’s much more comfortable for sightseeing than the intense summer heat.
We also visited Islamic Cairo and Khan el Khalili market, explored the Egyptian Museum, and took a felucca ride on the Nile River, which was such a bucket list experience! I honestly wish we’d spent more time in Egypt because there’s so much to see, eat, and explore beyond the pyramids. Our guided tour was incredible, and our guide, Heba, was so knowledgeable and fun to be around. Here’s the exact tour we booked if you want to check it out and this one for Islamic Cairo!
November is a great excuse to slow down a little and fit more into your trip without feeling completely exhausted by the desert heat.
See our 3 Day Cairo Itinerary here!
Where to Stay in Cairo, Egypt

We stayed at Four Seasons Hotel Cairo at Nile Plaza, which is a wonderful luxury option along the Nile and a great home base for exploring the city.
I’d also recommend Marriott Mena House, where we visited for lunch. The setting is incredible, with views of the Pyramids of Giza right from the hotel grounds. Even if you stay elsewhere in Cairo, I’d try to make time for a meal here!
13. Washington, DC

November is a great time for a weekend getaway to Washington, DC, especially if you want to explore the city beyond the usual sightseeing checklist. I’ve been to DC many times, most recently in November with my husband and our toddler, who had just turned two!
This trip was more about enjoying the city at a slower pace. We spent time exploring Georgetown, browsing the shops, walking along the National Mall to see the monuments, and, most importantly, eating our way around the city. Georgetown has so many great restaurants and I love how much you can fit into a weekend here without needing a pre-planned itinerary (other than dining reservations!)
The fall foliage was stunning when we visited in November and they were just starting to put up the holiday decorations, too! It was such a fun time to experience the city, with a little fall color and a peek at the holiday season ahead.
Average daytime temperatures in November are around 58°F, with cooler evenings in the low 40s, so bring layers for walking around the city. I’d plan for a mix of outdoor exploring and cozy restaurant stops if the weather turns chilly. We still dined outside at many restaurants which had heaters and was so nice!
Where to Stay in Washington, DC

We stayed at Rosewood Washington, D.C., in Georgetown and it was a wonderful home base for our weekend. The location made it easy to explore the neighborhood on foot and the hotel was very welcoming for families. I’d recommend it if you’re looking for a luxury stay that feels a little more tucked away from the busier parts of the city while still being close to shopping, restaurants, and the waterfront.
14. Charleston, South Carolina

As a local, November is one of my favorite times of year to enjoy Charleston, SC. I live here and November is such a sweet spot between the busy summer season and the holiday rush. The weather is mild and we still get plenty of warm, sunny days that make it easy to spend time outside.
It’s a great month for shopping along King Street, exploring Charleston’s historic sites, and enjoying some of the best restaurants in the city. In November, you can also visit Charleston for the Food & Wine Classic which is a huge event put on by Travel + Leisure.
I especially love this time of year when the marsh grass turns from green to golden! It’s often still nice enough for a walk on the beach before heading downtown for dinner!
Pack a light coat and you’ll be comfortable in everything from jeans and a sweater to a sweater dress. If you’re looking for a Southern getaway with great food, charming streets, and a little time outdoors, November is a lovely time to visit for Charleston.
Where to Stay in Charleston, South Carolina

Charleston has some incredible boutique and luxury hotels, and these are a few of my favorites to recommend depending on what kind of trip you’re planning.
- The Dewberry: A design-forward luxury hotel with a beautiful rooftop bar, a lovely spa, and a great location for exploring downtown.
- Hotel Bennett: One of my favorite Charleston hotels, right on King Street next to Marion Square. It’s a great choice if you want to be close to shopping, restaurants, and everything happening downtown.
- Zero George: An intimate boutique hotel tucked away in a collection of historic homes and carriage houses. I love this one for a quieter, more personal Charleston experience.
- The Charleston Place: A classic luxury hotel in the heart of downtown, with a great location for shopping, dining, and exploring the historic district.
- The Cooper: A newer luxury waterfront hotel with beautiful harbor views, a spa, and a different feel from the traditional historic district hotels. It’s a great option if you want to be right on the water.

15. Mexico

November is a fabulous time to visit Mexico, whether you’re dreaming of a beach vacation, a foodie getaway, or something a little more cultural. I visited one year for Día de los Muertos (celebrated November 1-2 every year), and it was really special to experience how the country celebrates the holiday. If you can plan your trip around it, I’d absolutely recommend it!

For a beach vacation, I love Tulum and the Riviera Maya. We visited Tulum one year and loved the foodie scene, incredible restaurants, exploring cenotes, and spending time at the beach. See our 4 day Tulum itinerary here! If you’re more interested in a city getaway, Mexico City is such a great destination for food lovers. We tried so many amazing restaurants, including Pujol and Rosetta, and were surprised by just how much we loved the city. November is a great time to visit either area, with warm beach weather and cooler temperatures in Mexico City that make sightseeing much more comfortable.
You could also head to Los Cabos or Puerto Vallarta for a luxury resort getaway. November is a great time to enjoy the beaches, spend time by the pool, and explore beyond your resort if you’re in the mood. There are so many different ways to experience Mexico, which is part of what makes it such a great destination this time of year.

Where to Stay in Mexico

- Tulum: Hotel Panamera. We stayed here during our trip to Tulum, and it’s a fun boutique hotel with a great location near the beach and restaurants.
- Mexico City: Four Seasons Hotel Mexico City. A beautiful luxury hotel along Paseo de la Reforma, with a peaceful courtyard and a great location for exploring the city and its incredible food scene.
- Los Cabos: Four Seasons Resort and Residences Los Cabos at Costa Palmas. A beautiful option if you’re looking for a more secluded luxury beach escape on the East Cape.
- Riviera Nayarit: One&Only Mandarina. Set in the jungle along the Pacific coast, this is a great choice if you want a luxury resort surrounded by nature.
- Los Cabos: Rosewood Las Ventanas al Paraíso. An iconic luxury resort known for its service, beautiful suites, and romantic atmosphere.
As a travel advisor, I can help you find the right hotel for your trip, whether that’s a boutique stay in Tulum, a food-focused city break, or a luxury resort where you can settle in for a few days. I can also arrange VIP perks at select hotels, including complimentary breakfast, property credits, and potential room upgrades. Inquire about hotel bookings here.
16. New York City, New York

New York City is such a fun place to visit in November, especially if you want to get into the holiday spirit! The Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade is a bucket list experience if you can plan your trip around Thanksgiving, and the city starts to feel extra festive as holiday window displays and decorations pop up.
NYC is also an easy getaway for so many people, with direct flights from cities across the country. You can spend your days checking off iconic sights like Times Square, the Empire State Building, and the Statue of Liberty, fitting in some shopping, and eating your way around the city. Honestly, one of my favorite things about New York is just walking around and soaking it all in. Pack a warm coat and layers, since November can be chilly, especially when you’re out exploring all day!
Where to Stay in New York City
There are so many incredible hotels in NYC, and these are a few I’d have on my list.

- Pendry Manhattan West: I loved staying here! It’s chic, modern, and in a great location for exploring the city. I’d absolutely recommend it if you want a stylish luxury hotel.
- The Nell: This is a new hotel I’m excited to keep an eye on, with an anticipated opening next year. The brand is connected to The Nell in Aspen, and I’m looking forward to seeing what they bring to New York.
- The Carlyle, A Rosewood Hotel: An iconic Upper East Side hotel with classic New York character. I’d consider it for a more traditional luxury stay or with kids!
- The Greenwich Hotel: A favorite to consider in Tribeca, with a more intimate, residential feel and beautiful interiors.
- Crosby Street Hotel: A colorful, design-forward boutique hotel in SoHo that’s especially appealing if shopping and exploring downtown are high on your list.
I’d love to help you find and book the right New York City hotel for your trip! Through Leisurely Travel Co., I can arrange VIP perks at select properties, which may include complimentary breakfast, hotel credits, room upgrades when available, and early check-in or late checkout. Inquire about hotel bookings here or request access to our client portal to browse yourself!
17. The Florida Keys
If you’re looking for warm weather in the US in November, head to the Florida Keys! You can enjoy Caribbean vibes without leaving the country, making it a great option for a sunny fall getaway. November brings warm temperatures, with daytime highs typically around 80°F, so it’s a lovely time to spend time outdoors before winter sets in elsewhere!
You can explore Key West, spend your days relaxing by the water, head out on a fishing charter, or book a boat trip to explore the surrounding islands. It’s also a great destination if you want a laid back trip without a packed itinerary. Just keep in mind that hurricane season officially runs through November, so travel insurance is worth considering here, though it’s not as much of a concern in November.
Where to Stay in the Florida Keys

Little Palm Island Resort & Spa: If you’re looking for a truly special luxury escape, this adults only private island resort is such a fun option. Accessible only by boat or seaplane, it feels wonderfully secluded and is ideal for a romantic getaway.
Isla Bella Beach Resort: A great option for families, with a beautiful waterfront setting in Marathon, multiple pools, and plenty of space to relax. It’s a good home base for exploring the Middle Keys while still enjoying resort time.
