Planning a babymoon? It’s the perfect excuse to sneak in one last relaxing getaway before your little one arrives. Think of it as a pre-baby honeymoon—just you, your partner, and plenty of time to unwind before life changes in the best way. I’m sharing the best babymoon destinations by month to help you decided where to go!
As a travel blogger, I’ve been to some pretty amazing places around the world, and I truly believe these babymoon destinations (and hotels) are some of the best for expecting moms. When I was pregnant, I planned my own babymoon to the Amalfi Coast and Rome at 24 weeks, plus visited Geneva and Copenhagen. And at 33 weeks, I squeezed in a last-minute long weekend in Miami—because sometimes, you just need one more getaway!
The key to a great babymoon? Timing. The best destination depends on the time of year, ensuring great weather and a stress-free experience. It’s also important to travel during your second trimester, especially if you’re going international. You’ll feel your best, have more energy, and avoid the discomforts of early or late pregnancy.
That’s why I’ve put together this guide to the best babymoon destinations by month. Each month features two dreamy locations around the world, chosen for their ideal weather, relaxation factor, and overall experience. Of course, many of these spots are amazing year-round, but this list will help you pick the perfect place for your timeline.
