Cook Book or Coffee Table Books
I wanted to do the Reese Witherspoon book for my baby shower hostess gifts, but knew a couple people already had it. SO I went with the newest Half Baked Harvest book (link below). Everyone was pretty excited about it so I think it will be useful!
Any of these would be great options. I loved the idea of the Little Citrus Cookbook – it’s super unique and would be SO adorable with a note that said “thanks for showering our little cutie”. Note, it is pretty small in size and for the same cost, I thought the HBH felt like a nicer gift. But you could always pair the book with a citrus olive oil or something too!
Old Whaling Co Spa Gift Set
Another great gift idea for a baby shower hostess is a spa gift set. Hosting a baby shower can be a lot of work and can be stressful for the hostess. A spa gift set is a perfect way to help them relax and unwind after all their hard work. Look for a set that includes items like bath bombs, body lotion, a scented candle, and a face mask. This gift will not only show your appreciation but also provide the hostess with a well-deserved pampering session.
I have gifted this Old Whaling brand to alllll of my family and friends over the years. Actually, I even used it as bridesmaids gifts during my wedding. I simply love their products! Locally made in Charleston, SC this small business is a great one to support as you offer your hosts a little pampering.
Cocktail Recipe with Red Clay & Daysie Syrups
You can always do a bottle of wine, but why not mix it up! Try this combo of simple syrups + salt to make a spicy margarita! Here is the recipe and you could have it printed out for them to affix with the gift box.
Cloth Napkin Set
I love the idea of nice cloth dinner or cocktail napkins as a baby shower hostess gift. A gift I personally would love to receive! You can usually find pretty ones on Amazon or on sale at Pottery Barn, West Elm, etc.
Personalized Stationary
A personalized stationary set it always a useful gift for sending snail mail in style. Your hosts will love the extra thought to have something custom made with their names.
Plants
Another creative and practical baby shower hostess gift idea is a succulent or plant arrangement. This gift not only adds a touch of greenery to the hostess’s home but also serves as a reminder of the special occasion. Choose a beautiful arrangement of succulents or plants that are easy to care for, so the hostess can enjoy them without much maintenance. You can also opt for a decorative pot or planter to enhance the aesthetic appeal. It’s a thoughtful and long-lasting gift that will bring joy to the hostess’s space.
I love these decorative planters and then you can buy a plant from your local garden store – a gift that will last! I’ve had this first one (in white) for years and love it!
Candles
Candles are a bit overdone, but it’s always an appreciated gift! I give people candles all the time whether birthdays or holidays. Pick something you love or go with a pretty jar! We have some great local candle makers in Charleston so I always get something from Candlefish. If you need something quick on Amazon, I love these gorgeous options right on theme with a baby shower!
