I adore the Hoxton brand hotels! The first time I stayed in one was in Amsterdam for a one night stopover on my way home from Greece. But my favorite one of all has been The Hoxton Paris Hotel! I’m excited to share this in depth review so you can make an easy decision to book it!
The brand is super trendy, with everything you need and none of the stuff you don’t. If you are single traveler, book their tiny room that is perfect for one person. If you are traveling as a couple or with kids, the rooms come in many different sizes to accommodate your needs. With luxury amenities, a great location, and delicious restaurants, there is much to love about The Hoxton Paris. Let’s dive into it!

Location of The Hoxton Paris
The hotel is housed in an 18th century mansion in a super hip area of the 2nd arrondissement. We walked everywhere from our hotel, but some places were a bit far. You will be fairly close to the Louvre, Seine, Eiffel Tower, and Notre Dame. Paris is such a dreamy city to walk around that you won’t even notice how many steps you are getting in! The hotel does off FREE BIKES to help you move around easily.
Walking distance to popular attractions:
- Notre Dame – 30 Minutes
- Louvre – 17 Minutes
- Eiffel Tower – 1 Hour (feels shorter when you are already out and about), we walked there and took a taxi back
- Seine River – 24 Minutes
- Le Marais – 22 Minutes
The Hoxton Paris Rooms
The Hotel features 172 rooms with Parisian design throughout. The beds are super comfy with plush pillows and comforters. The floors are wood placed in a chevron pattern. But, my favorite design detail might be the bathrooms with contemporary features, bold tile floors, and gold accents.
We booked the “cosy” room and it was perfect for two people for a long weekend. If we stayed much longer, we would have chose a slightly larger room like the “roomy” or “biggy” with extra seating, desks, etc.
Standard in room features include: air conditioning, wifi, plugs, hair dryer, mini fridge, phone, radio, TV, black out curtains, kettle, and more!
Amenities at the Hoxton Paris
There are a few amenities that I simply love at The Hoxton hotels.
Breakfast bags
Want breakfast in your room? No problem. Fill out the breakfast card and place outside your door the night before. Check the desired delivery time, items you want, and it will be waiting for you in the morning! Pick some yogurt, granola, OJ, and a banana.
Tiny Hox
One of my favorite new amenities with this brand is called Tiny Hox. You can make this special request and book a room with everything you need for your baby or small child. They offer toys, cribs, bottle warmers, freezer space for milk, kid breakfast bags, child friendly menus, bath essentials, board games, etc.
Room Service
I love a hotel that offers room service, although in a city like Paris, you should be dining out! The Hoxton offers in room dining and drinks with an easy online ordering platform. You can get anything from avocado toast to a burger.
Hox Shop
The lobby sundry shop offers beer, wine, and snacks at normal prices vs high mini bar rates!
Gym Access
While the hotel does not have a gym, they instead offer discounted access to area gyms in the neighborhood. Try out a new class with some of the locals!
Hox Bikes
The Hoxton Paris offers FREE bikes to easily get you around the city.
Laundry Services
For a small charge, the hotel offers laundry service so you can keep your clothes fresh and you carry-on light!
Flexible Check In/Out Times
When booking your room, you can select a checkout time to best fit your schedule. Normal check out is at 12pm, but you can request all the way until 4pm.
Where to Eat and Drink
The Hoxton Paris has three awesome dining outlets for you to enjoy during your stay. Plus, a great little coffee bar in the mornings!
Planche – The Hoxton Paris Courtyard
We spent SO much time out in this amazing courtyard at The Hoxton. This little wine bar is called Planche and it was constantly buzzing with locals and visitors. They serve wine, citrus inspired cocktails and light bites. This is the best spot for a relaxing summer afternoon in the city.
Jacques’ Bar – The Hoxton Paris Secret Bar
If you weren’t looking, you may never know this charming little bar exists. Head up the 18th century spiral staircase, enter through a barely marked door, and you will find the super intimate Jacques’s Bar. It’s the perfect hideaway for a pre-dinner cocktail or nightcap! We were the only ones up here when we stumbled up on it.
Rivié – All Day Dining
Located on the first floor of the hotel, Rivié serves modern, french cuisine all day long. Enjoy breakfast, weekend brunch, lunch, dinner, dessert, or even just a nightcap.
