On our last trip, we flew from Munich, Germany direct to Mykonos which was incredible to completely skip a stopover in Athens. It is actually the only reason we even added on a couple nights in Mykonos. We traveled to the Greek Isles with our baby and this made it so much easier with her. The only downside is that the ferry had a stop in Paros, but it was quick.
Milos to Sifnos

The KTEL buses connect the island’s main towns, beaches, and villages, with routes running regularly, especially in the summer months. - Car and ATV Rentals | Renting a car or ATV is one of the best ways to explore Sifnos, especially if you want the flexibility to visit more remote beaches or villages. There are several rental shops in Kamares (the main port) offering a range of vehicles, from small cars to ATVs and scooters. Sifnos isn’t too large, but having your own wheels. Be sure to book ahead, especially during the high season.

If you’re visiting during these months, make sure to book your ferry tickets and accommodation well in advance as things fill up quickly.
Shoulder Seasons (May-June & September-October)
The shoulder seasons of May-June and September-October are often considered the best times to visit Sifnos. The weather is still warm and pleasant, but the crowds are thinner, making it a more relaxing experience.
