I stayed at Cali Mykonos with my husband and our 11-month-old while island hopping in Greece. We loved staying here as a family and think it’s perfect for couples or families alike. If you’re looking for an honest Cali Mykonos Hotel review, you’re in the right place.
You might be surprised to hear that Mykonos wasn’t on my travel wish list. The party island vibe didn’t seem like my style. I visited only to avoid a ferry layover in Athens by flying directly to the islands. I chose Cali Mykonos for its quieter location, intimate feel, and 5-star luxury. The private beach and infinity pool sealed the deal.
In this Cali Mykonos review, I’ll share all about our stay last summer. I’ll cover the suites, beach and pool, dining options, and service so you can decide if it’s the right fit for you. Whether you’re planning a romantic getaway or a family trip, I hope this helps you make the most of your time on the island.

Top 6 Reasons We Love Cali Mykonos Hotel
If you’re short on time, here are six reasons we love Cali Mykonos and think it’s worth booking:
- Infinity Pool – The 130-metre infinity pool overlooking the Aegean Sea is absolutely stunning. It’s a tranquil, luxurious oasis and one of the highlights of our stay. The views alone make it unforgettable.
- Suites with Private Plunge Pools – Each suite offers privacy and luxury with its own plunge pool, perfect for relaxing anytime. Pro Tip: If you’re traveling with a baby in Greece, book a suite with a private pool! It’s a game changer for nap time—you can lounge and swim right outside your room.
- Chic and Comfortable Rooms – The whitewashed walls, minimalist design, and airy layouts give the rooms a perfect Greek aesthetic. Modern amenities like a Nespresso machine and thoughtful details made our stay even better. It’s stylish and cozy—everything I look for in a luxury hotel.
- Great Food and Drinks – The dining here is top-notch. We especially loved the sushi restaurant overlooking the Aegean. The à la carte breakfast (included in your stay) had plenty of delicious options, even for our plant-based diet. And don’t miss their exceptional cocktails!
- Intimate and Exclusive – With only 40 rooms, Cali Mykonos feels like a quiet retreat, which I loved on an island famous for its party scene. It is boutique and peaceful—ideal for unwinding while still enjoying the beauty of Mykonos.
- Family Friendly – As a family traveling with a baby in Mykonos, we appreciated how thoughtful the hotel was. They provided a Bugaboo travel crib with a soft blanket for our daughter. It’s perfect for families, with amenities that make your stay easy and comfortable.

We stayed in the Premium Pool Suite during our visit, and it was absolutely perfect for our family. Cali Mykonos offers a variety of accommodations, from suites with private plunge pools to spacious villas that can fit your entire group under one roof. You check room types and rates for your dates here.
The rooms are stunning. The whitewashed walls, minimalist design, and airy layouts create a dreamy Greek aesthetic. Our suite was spacious, with a separate living area leading to a terrace featuring a private infinity pool and multiple seating areas. The large bedroom included a marble-clad bathroom and a generously sized closet—perfect for longer stays.
There was plenty of room for our daughter’s crib, which the hotel thoughtfully provided, complete with a soft blanket.
The highlight? The outdoor area. Our private infinity pool overlooked the Aegean Sea, offering breathtaking views. We spent hours lounging in the shaded seating area, sunbathing on the chaise lounges, and enjoying the divine outdoor shower.
Cali Mykonos goes above and beyond with thoughtful amenities. Yoga mats, luxurious bath products, plush bathrobes, and slippers made our stay even more comfortable.

Dining at Cali Mykonos
The onsite dining was one of the reasons we chose Cali Mykonos. The cuisine is led by chef Lefteris Lazarou, the first Greek chef to earn a Michelin Star at Varoulko, his restaurant in Athens. Since we stayed for two nights and never left the hotel, we had every meal here—and tried almost everything!
Breakfast was such a treat. They start you off with a spread of breads and jams—the strawberry was our favorite! There are so many options, from pancakes to chia seed pudding. I loved that they offered dishes that suited our mostly plant-based diet.
All-day dining by the pool was equally fantastic. There’s a focus on healthy options, which I appreciated. My go-to was the arugula and quinoa salad, and I added salmon for a boost. My husband really enjoyed his Caprese sandwich on fresh bread, served with a simple but delicious arugula salad.
For dinner, we absolutely loved The Lounge, the hotel’s sushi restaurant. The setting is stunning, especially at sunset, so be sure to time your visit for those golden hour views. You can’t go wrong with the spicy tuna roll, fresh nigiri, or sashimi.

The main restaurant offers a fine dining experience with a diverse menu. From sushi and a raw bar to salads, bowls, fresh catch, steak, and lamb, there’s something for everyone. Every meal felt thoughtfully prepared and beautifully presented.
Dining at Cali Mykonos truly elevated our stay. Whether by the pool or at the sushi bar overlooking the Aegean, every meal felt special.

Infinity Pool at Cali Mykonos
If you’ve seen photos of Cali Mykonos, you’ve probably been drawn to the pool—and for good reason. The 130-metre infinity pool is the longest in the Greek islands and easily a standout feature of the hotel.
One of the things I loved most was the zero-entry design, which is ideal for families with kids. Because the pool is so long, it feels incredibly spacious—you’re never too close to other guests. In fact, during our stay, we often had the pool almost entirely to ourselves!
You could easily spend an entire day here (and we did), lounging on the comfortable chairs, sipping cocktails, and enjoying light bites from the poolside menu. The service is attentive without being intrusive, and it adds to the overall sense of luxury.
The views from the infinity pool are absolutely breathtaking. It overlooks the surrounding islands and the endless blue of the Aegean Sea. Whether you’re swimming or just taking it all in from your lounger, it’s the kind of view that stays with you long after you leave.

Private Beach
One of the main reasons I chose Cali Mykonos was for its small private beach—and it was just as incredible as I’d hoped. I was worried it would be crowed, but we often were the only people there.
The beach is beautifully set up with lounge chairs and umbrellas, offering a luxurious and intimate spot to unwind. The staff takes care of everything, from bringing down waters to serving cocktails, so you can completely relax.
It’s a sandy beach with a calm swimming area, making it perfect for a refreshing dip or just floating in the clear waters. The exclusivity of having this peaceful retreat right at the hotel meant we never had to go anywhere else.
If you’re looking for a serene, private beach experience without the crowds, Cali Mykonos delivers.

Wellness Offerings
Cali Mykonos takes wellness to the next level with its impressive offerings. The fitness center is well-equipped, and the spa includes a sauna and a cold plunge for ultimate relaxation and rejuvenation.
They also offer personal trainers and wellness classes upon request, adding a personalized touch to your stay. Plus, there are yoga mats in the room so you can exercise at your own pace.
While we weren’t there long enough to try these amenities ourselves, everything looked incredible. If you’re someone who loves to stay active or unwind with spa treatments, Cali Mykonos has you covered.
Service and Staff
The service at Cali Mykonos was exceptional from start to finish. The staff was friendly, professional, and always willing to go the extra mile to make our stay special.
Our experience began the moment we landed. We were picked up at the airport in one of the hotel’s luxury SUVs and chauffeured to the property. Upon arrival, we were greeted warmly outside, led to a seating area, and offered refreshments while the check-in process was handled seamlessly. Once ready, we were escorted to our villa by golf cart—a thoughtful touch, given the steep hills.
Our room was beautifully prepared with a complimentary bottle of champagne and chocolates, which felt like such a warm welcome. (Champagne on arrival is definitely the way to my travel heart!)
The attentive service continued throughout our stay. Golf carts were readily available to take us around the property, which was especially appreciated on those steep inclines.
The staff was also incredibly kind to our baby. One morning at breakfast, I ordered a banana for her, and they brought it out sliced—without me even asking. It’s those thoughtful, personal touches that truly set a hotel apart.
From the moment we landed until the day we departed, the team at Cali Mykonos went above and beyond to ensure our experience was unforgettable.

Experiences at Cali Mykonos Hotel
Cali Mykonos offers an array of incredible experiences to elevate your stay and make exploring Mykonos unforgettable.
Luxury Yacht Cruise & Transfers
Luxury yacht cruises are a standout option, perfect for soaking in the island’s beauty from the water. While we didn’t have time for a cruise during our visit, it’s absolutely something I’d recommend. The yachts are stunning and make for a luxurious way to spend sunset.
Cali Mykonos offers yacht transfers to many of the island’s beach clubs. The fee is around €125 each way. While not the most economical option, it’s a fantastic experience—especially if you’re splitting the cost with a group!

The hotel provides ferry and airport transfers, including semi-private options and a scheduled shuttle service to Mykonos Town and Ano Mera Villa.
We used the complimentary transfers from the airport and to the ferry port when departing. The driver was so friendly and even shared tips for navigating the Mykonos ferry port, like the best spots to wait and how to spot our ship. It was such a helpful touch!

The daily à la carte breakfast at The Restaurant is a highlight. Having breakfast included adds tremendous value, especially at a luxury property. It reduces friction and makes mornings feel seamless.
