There is nowhere quite like the Greek Isles and Milos is a gem among them. If you’re planning a trip to Milos, Greece, you’ll want to make sure you experience the best of the local cuisine. From fresh seafood to traditional Greek dishes, Milos has a variety of restaurants to choose from. Check out our ultimate guide to the top restaurants in Milos and get ready to indulge in some delicious meals.
Due to its island location, Milos is a prime destination for fresh seafood prepared with a grecian flare to it. Think shrimp saganaki, fresh crudo, sun dried fish, lots of real feta cheese, and locally grown vegetables. I did not feel like I gained a single pound vacationing here because the food is so fresh and naturally pretty healthy (if you avoid all the pita bread). Read along for where we ate and where I plan to eat next time.

1. Medusa Restaurant
Medusa is hands down one of my favorite restaurants on Earth. If you’re a seafood lover, you won’t want to miss Medusa Restaurant. Located in the charming fishing village of Mandrakia, this restaurant offers some of the freshest seafood on the island. From grilled octopus to lobster pasta, the menu is full of delicious options. Plus, the stunning views of the Aegean Sea make for a truly unforgettable dining experience. Be sure to make a reservation in advance or arrive early, as this popular spot fills up quickly.
We had the greek salad topped with a huge block of feta (which was what I came for after seeing it on social media), sun dried mackerel (we saw them catch and dry the fish earlier that day when we swam at the beach), swordfish souvlaki, and finished it off with a little baklava. The sunset here was beautiful so you must sit along the cliff. Also included is the opportunity to dine with the neighborhood cats. 🙂
2. Rifaki
Rifaki has the best view of the fishing village along the water in Pollonia. It was SO picturesque with boats of all sizes dotting the coastline. The white wine here was one of my favorites from Moraitis Winery in Paros. We had the chicken souvlaki and fries and it was exactly what I wanted – best traditional greek food. We also had feta phyllo (which is feta wrapped in phyllo dough with honey drizzled over), mussels, and for dessert, their traditional dessert – yogurt with crumbled biscuit over it. It tastes like a graham cracker or nilla wafer. Highly recommend this place!
3. Enalion
We had lunch at Enalion Restaurant on our first day. We both ordered pasta and should have split one. The portions were huge! It is a nice open air spot along the lagoon, serving up fresh seafood pasta.
4. Armenaki Greece
If you’re looking for a restaurant that embodies the warmth and hospitality of Greece, look no further than Armenaki. This family-owned establishment in the heart of Pollonia serves up traditional Greek dishes with a focus on fresh, locally sourced ingredients. The menu features classic dishes like moussaka and souvlaki, as well as seafood specialties like grilled octopus and fried calamari. The friendly staff and cozy atmosphere make Armenaki a favorite among locals and tourists alike. Don’t forget to try their homemade baklava for dessert!
5. Aqua Loca Beach Bar
Aqua Loca beach bar is a laid back beachside cafe. We ended up here during our Milos beach hopping and were starving so picked this spot. It was unexpectedly very good! I had the turkey sandwich on a soft baguette and of course, greek wine.
6. O!Hamas
Since this trip, I have come across some other amazing restaurants in Milos, Greece. My top choice next time will be O!Hamas! Tavern in Adamas. It should be at the very top of your list too.
For a taste of authentic Greek cuisine, head to O! Hamos in the town of Adamas. This family-owned restaurant serves up classic dishes like moussaka, souvlaki, and spanakopita, all made with fresh, locally sourced ingredients. The cozy atmosphere and friendly staff make for a welcoming dining experience. Don’t forget to try their homemade baklava for dessert!
O!Hamas! is family run using ingredients from their own farm and is located along the beach so you can have waterside drinks if there is a wait. I mean, how cute is their garden?
7. Avli
Avli Milos is located in super charming Plaka. It is housed in a classic blue and white shop along the pedestrian street so the vibe will feel super authentic. They do not take reservations so get there early in case you end up waiting.
8. Utopia Cafe
Utopia has one of the best views for sunset in Milos. Be sure to get there early to grab a seat on the terrace and stay after the sun dips below the horizon! Everyone gets up to leave, but the sunset colors really start pop at this point. They have great wines and snacks to enjoy along with the views.
9. Barriello
If you’re looking for a romantic dinner spot, Barriello is the perfect choice. Located in the picturesque village of Tripiti, this restaurant offers stunning views of the Aegean Sea and the surrounding hills. The menu features a mix of traditional Greek dishes and modern cuisine, all made with fresh, seasonal ingredients. Be sure to try their signature dish, the grilled octopus, and pair it with a glass of local wine. The intimate atmosphere and attentive service make for a memorable dining experience.
10. Ergina
For a truly unforgettable dining experience, head to Ergina in the charming fishing village of Pollonia. This restaurant is known for its gourmet cuisine, featuring a fusion of traditional Greek flavors with modern twists. The menu changes seasonally to showcase the freshest local ingredients, and the wine list is extensive, featuring both local and international selections. Be sure to try their famous lobster pasta and finish off your meal with their decadent chocolate lava cake. The elegant ambiance and impeccable service make Ergina a must-visit restaurant in Milos.
11. Kostantakis Milos Cave Winery
While not technically a restaurant, book a tasting at Kostantakis Cave Winery. If you guys are anything like me, you’ll want to know where to find the best wines. This is it – the only official winery on Milos, this family run, small batch winery will make such a memorable experience. Enjoy locally produced wines along with a cheese plate and appetizers. Depending on your appetite, this may be enough of a meal for you! Truly the perfect way to spend an afternoon or early evening.
